ABOUT US
The business started in 1985 as Eddie’s Taxidermy and has been owned/operated by the Jahns family since then. For 30 years, Eddie’s Taxidermy was affiliated with Eddie’s Game Processing in San Antonio. Terry and Ann Jahns worked hard with Eddie’s Game Processing ownership to grow both businesses by providing quality products with an exceptional level of customer service year after year. Relying solely on our customers’ experiences to result in word of mouth marketing, Eddie’s Game Processing and Taxidermy grew from a small family owned business into a renowned facility for South Texas hunters to use for their meat processing and taxidermy needs.
In 2014, due to the growth of the taxidermy and a need for having a facility closer to brush country clientele, Terry and Ann made the tough decision to begin looking for a new location to expand their business as Trophy Buck Inc. After much prayer and thought on where they wanted to be located, the property in Lytle, Tx. was purchased and our existing facility was built. Although some of the dynamics of the business would change, including the addition of Livestock Slaughter & Processing, the core values of the company will always remain the same, especially the business being family owned and operated.

All meat operations are run by Terry and Ann's oldest son, Micah, and all taxidermy operations are managed by Terry and Ann's second son, Joshua. Both Micah and Joshua worked alongside Terry at Eddie's and transitioned with him to get Trophy Buck started and off the ground. Micah and Joshua know the in's and out's of running the business and look forward to carrying the torch for many years to come in providing South Texas hunters with a high quality one-stop shop for meat processing & taxidermy services.
